Walk the Andean Sacred Mesa Path with us
A year-long journey for those ready to explore their inner world and walk through life with greater presence, responsibility, and reverence.
We are taught to navigate our external world, but what about your internal one?
What are you cultivating there?
What shapes the way you see, think, feel, and respond?
Which parts of yourself have you learned to embrace, and which have you pushed aside?
And what becomes possible when you begin to tend your inner world as something you participate in creating, with care and sacred responsibility?
The Mesa Path is an invitation to know the world within you, understand how you co-create with sacred responsibility, and walk through life with greater awareness and intention.
What is a Mesa?
As a collective, the Mesa has been practised in the Andes for thousands of years and weaves together Indigenous teachings and a worldview that values being in right-relationship with all of our relations, both here on Earth and in the Cosmos.
As an individual, the Mesa is a representation of your world. It is your reality, your history, your dreams, what you carry with you, and what you are becoming.
It offers a personal map of understanding through which you can begin to know your inner world and can create reference points for navigating your experience with greater awareness, harmony, and responsibility.
What are you creating inside yourself?
We are often taught how to understand and manage the outer world. We are rarely taught how to explore and care for our inner world.
Maybe you already sense it. You notice yourself living from habitual patterns, or feeling caught in internal conflict. You recognize when you are over-identifying with one aspect of yourself, or hold many ideas without ever practicing or embodying them. You feel spiritually oriented but not quite grounded, or are in constant motion without an anchor. You want change, but are not always sure what it is you desire, or you find yourself looking outside for answers.
Awareness is real and it matters. What is often missing is a pathway through it.
The Mesa Path offers a lineage-based, living way of relating to yourself. It provides a practical map for navigating your inner world with the same care that you give the outer one.
You become more conscious of what you carry, and how you co-create it in right relationship with all of your relations.
Who this journey is for
This may be for you if you:
- Feel called to deepen your relationship with yourself.
- Are interested in Indigenous Andean wisdom and want to learn through a lineage-held context.
- Want a framework for exploring your inner world.
- Are ready to look at both the beautiful and difficult parts of yourself and know it's all connected to living in more harmony and right-relationship.
- Want to receive spiritual teachings that connect back to everyday life, not just to peak experiences.
- Are willing to be an active participant in the journey, rather than simply consume information.
- Feel called to begin walking the Path for yourself, and in community with others.
These teachings are alive in everyday experience
Mesa Path teachings are for those dedicated to a path of personal discovery, practice, and self-mastery.
These lineage-led teachings are not simply something to understand intellectually. We learn them, practice them, and bring them into our everyday lives; allowing the teachings to become tangible and meaningful in our everyday experience.
Having a personal Mesa offers you an ongoing and evolving relationship with your inner world and is centred in your heart and in your relationship to nature.
It connects you with a community of heart-centered individuals walking their own paths with intention, presence, and care.
For some, the Mesa becomes a feeling of "coming home" to themselves. For others, it marks an important passage in their lives, creating space to explore, heal, integrate, and harmonize the relationship between mind, body, and soul.
This program is open to all levels of experience and is by application and invitation. Small, intimate group cohorts are intentionally designed to create meaningful connections with others while providing personal support and guidance.

What is an Ayllu
Ayllu is a Quechua word meaning "big family."
As Jhaimy often shares, it is more than community, it is a spiritual family committed to growing and learning together, and to supporting one another in being their best.
Ayllu communities practice Yachay (Sacred Learning) and Llanquay (Sacred Work) in service of love for their families and communities.
When you have complete the creation of your personal Mesa you become part of a heart-centered, global community that continues to deepen the wisdom teachings together and provides a way to integrate them into your daily life.
We look forward to welcoming you into this incredible circle of support.
Hear from some of our Ayllu Mesa Holders
Listen to some of our Ayllu members share how their lives have been transformed through their Mesa journey.
Each person in our Ayllu is unique, and so is their Mesa.
The experience of creating and working with a Mesa can open a personal path of remembrance, healing, transformation, and growth, unfolding in its own way for each person.
"I would highly recommend Jhaimy's workshops to anyone seeking to expand their knowledge and personal experience of ancient teachings. His teachings and methods are personal and from the heart, drawing from his ancient traditions with openness, sincerity and honouring of the Earth." - Dorothy B.

Children of the Seven Rays
Children of the Seven Rays was founded in 2006 by Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta and Starr Muranko, following a sacred ceremony held high in the Andes of Peru. In that ceremony, the first spark of this work was born, a clear call to share the wisdom of the Andes and support others in walking a path of remembrance and reverence.
Our work is rooted in sharing Indigenous wisdom teachings while honouring the traditions and living lineages from which they come. Guided by the Andean principle of Sumaq Kausay, Living Life in a Good Way with All of Existence, we support a way of life grounded in integrity and right relationship with all that surrounds us.
In the Quechua language, Children of the Seven Rays translates to Inti Churincuna Canchis Illa. This name reflects a way of living not in the black or the white, but within the full spectrum of the rainbow, a space of balance, transformation, and transmutation. It is deeply rooted in Mother Earth, the Sacred Temples of the Andes, and the living lineage of Jhaimy’s Elders and Masters.
We are based in North Vancouver, Canada, with strong ties to our global Ayllu community of 100+ Mesa Holders, and to the Andes of Peru. Jhaimy returns throughout the year to Peru to maintain his connection to his Elders and lineage, and to share the magic of his sacred homeland with those called to journey there.
At the heart of Children of the Seven Rays is a team of leaders, and an incredible Ayllu community devoted to embodying the teachings and lineage with integrity and care. Read more about us.
