Sacred Pilgrimage

to Northern Peru

Oct 22 - Nov 3, 2026

A PERSONAL INVITATION TO CONNECT WITH APU HUACHUMA IN HIS SACRED HOME

Northern Peru holds one of the most powerful ceremonial landscapes in the Andes. Its deserts, rivers, mountains, and ancient temples carry the memory of civilizations that shaped spiritual understanding thousands of years ago. Long before the rise of the Inca Empire, cultures across this region created sacred centres designed to connect human life with the cosmos, the land, and the spirits of the mountains. Many of these traditions continue today through Elders and ceremonial lineages who maintain this relationship between people, place, and spirit.

At the heart of this living tradition is Apu Huachuma, often referred to as a Master Plant or Master Teacher. For millennia, Huachuma has been approached in ceremony as a guide of the heart, supporting clarity, healing, and deeper connection with life. In the Andean worldview, Huachuma is not simply a plant, but a living intelligence approached with care, reverence, and proper guidance.

Guided personally by Jhaimy Alvarez Acosta, who has walked the traditional path of an Andean Wisdomkeeper and Curandero for over 30 years, this sacred journey offers space to slow down, reflect, and open to the guidance of both the land and your inner self.

Alongside him, Payton Nyquvest, a Vancouver-based entrepreneur and founder of Numinus Wellness, serves as co-facilitator for the journey, bringing a deep commitment to personal transformation and to supporting the thoughtful integration of Indigenous wisdom into the modern world.

Together, they create a grounded and intentional space for you to engage with the sacred lands and living traditions of Peru with reverence, integrity, and experienced guidance.
